This tool is found to be effective for fixing small dents. However, a suction cup may not prove useful for repairing major and uneven dents. The next method is to glue a plastic adapter on the center of the dent, using a hot glue gun.

Attach a dent pulling tool to the plastic adapter, and pull the tool, so that the dent can be flattened. Most of these tools are found in car dent removal kits, which are very much useful for repairing minor dents.

Dry ice is nothing other than solid carbon dioxide, which is otherwise known as cardice or card ice. It comes in solid form and melts to form carbon dioxide gas. All you have to do is to apply it on the dents. However, make sure to wear protective gear, like heavy gloves, while doing this task.

Even though, dry ice is not known to cause scratches, it is always better to cover it with a soft, damp cloth, before applying it on dents.  Clean the surface of the dent and the area around them. Heat the dents and surrounding areas with a hair dryer, before applying dry ice. Press dry ice over the dents for around 60 seconds.

This makes the metal contract, thereby flattening the dents. Dry ice may prove effective for removing car dents, especially during warm climates. This method works best for minor dents that cover large areas. Dry ice method may not work on areas with paint damage or any creasing. It works on thin metal panels, those located on the roof, doors, hood, etc.
